2430 Internship Program

At 2430 Group, we seek highly motivated college and graduate students with backgrounds in STEM, languages, or international affairs to join our dynamic team. Applications are open until January 19, 2025.

Application Package:

  • Resume

  • College Transcripts

  • Writing Sample (3 - 5 pages)

  • One letter of recommendation (Your letter of recommendation may be emailed by your recommender to applications@2430group.org with the subject, "Letter of Recommendation - [Applicant Name]")

  • Cover letter with maximum 5,000 character personal statement:

    • Describe why working for 2430 Group fits into your current professional and personal goals.

    • Describe your best work experience and why.

    • Describe a mistake you made in your personal or professional life. What did you do as a result and what did you learn?

    • Describe any additional special skills not highlighted on your resume or transcripts (ex: foreign language with proficiency level; military or government background, data scientist, instructor or other special certifications, etc).

Participants will:

  • Work with the 2430 Group team on day-to-day tasks and long-term projects.

  • Provide analytical research support.

  • Assist in drafting papers.

  • Monitor national security and foreign policy developments (news, congress, social media).

  • Aid in producing social media content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher qualification in pertinent domains such as data science, social sciences, political analysis, forensic finance, etc.

  • Strong interest in research, data analysis, problem-solving, and specialized areas depending on the role applied for.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

  • History of successful collaborations in diverse teams.

  • Experience prioritizing among tasks.

Compensation

This is a paid internship commensurate with experience and qualifications.
